Let the universe decide who your cabin mate will be or if you want to share a cabin with someone you know, be sure you each buy a bed in the same cabin (#2 or #3). See the cabin # listed in the title to know which one you’re getting.

The cabins were saved from an old 1905 summer camp and have decades of happy memories in their bones. They now live a new, refreshed life on the Astro Ranch property getting a simple makeover with fresh paint and adding new windows to make them lighter and brighter, perfect for photoshoots!

In true vintage summer camp style, these cabins do not have a bathroom, electricity or heat/cooling but what they lack in fancy amenities they make up for in sheer style and cuteness. Cabins all have new comfy, modern, mattresses for a great night’s sleep! Bathroom access is in the main house or the bunkhouse both of which are open at all times and are just steps away. Please note, these images were taken at the beginning of the restoration process but the owner plans to have them decked out with cute vintage camp style decor hopefully in time for our retreat. However, no promises can be made about what exactly it’s final form will look like as they are still making decisions about those details.

The main house is a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom mid-century Rambler with lots of original and restored era details. The home has massive windows with tons of light, 2 living rooms, a two sided pink marble fireplace, full kitchen and the most epic wrap around sun porch you’ve ever seen!

Your ticket includes a simple dinner for everyone in the house the first night (probably a vegan & GF soup or stew) made by yours truly and there will be good, brewed coffee on hand at all times. Please remember that otherwise, you are in charge of your own meals, snacks, and drinks. The property is in Portland so you can easily order food for delivery or pop out to pick up stuff from a restaurant or grocery store.

* They are working hard to restore the property and buildings so they don’t have updated photos yet. Layout, furnishings and design may be different that what’s shown here in some of the photos used for it’s real estate sale listing. Current furniture is the darker, minimalist, mid century modern style.
* Cis men are welcome at this mini-retreat but should reserve a single room or cabin if they’d like to attend (or may also reserve a twin cabin if coming as/with a Bring a Friend)
